MMI and Samsung Note 8

I have a Samsung Note 8 and when i get a call it wont ring in the car, the cars MMI says unsupported for ringtone.

Looking on the Audi site the S8 is compatible i would have thought the Note 8 also.

has anyone else experienced this? I have a B9 RS5

I think ring tone means you can't use your chosen phone ring tones, the mmi still should use it's own. When the phone is ringing up the volume on the steering wheel as it may be muted...

It does not thats the issue, i get the pop up on the screen thats it no ring
