Drivers Door Wont Open From Outside

So the key wont turn in the door, I have tried WD40 to no avail.

All door locks fine with fob, but after unlocking with fob, the driver's door doesnt open.

I then have to either put the window down with the key (which is temper mental), or go round to the passengers side and then open the door. After that, the driver's door opens and closes fine. Anyone know what this may be?

It’s a common problem with the 8p mate,

Replace the lock assambly in the door and its fixed

Depends on how your mechanic skills are

Its easily done by yourself if you know what to do, maybe a little search on the forum takes you a long way!

It's a little more tricky on drivers door tbh given the lock barrel.

Sounds like the linking handle rod may need checking or adjusting, usually lube helps but yes these locks do suffer.

Whereabouts are you based?

The locks are about £160 iirc nrw as I've changed a number of them for clients.
