Manage to buy a second hand A4 2002 2.0 with the ALT engine, and amongst other solvable things, there is a hole approx. 1 inch diameter on the rear left of the engine (under the hose that connects the MAF sensor to the rest of the engine). Consequently, when you run the engine, oil splatters out and onto the CAT.
Any idea what part is required for this hole? Anyone have the same engine and can take a look? Unsure if it needs blanking off, or if there is something that should be there!
If its any help, the breather system had been modified (presumably as there was damage to the hose that comes off the oil filter area).
