Turbo Changed - BKD 2.0l TDI 8p

Hi,

I just fitted a fully reconditioned turbo after mine went (see attached picture, it had a bad day)

However when accelerating and boosting, the turbo is spooling and isn't kicking in until 3500 rpm and is just a bit in and out makes it own mind up. Loss of acceleration power in first and second unless i hold clutch and give it some revs ;) Do i need to position the actuator on the turbo and set it ?

No codes are present.

ESP lights have come on suddenly as well :/ (steering angle sensor came up on vcds)

I have checked the vacuum lines and they seem fine.

On idle it's 830 rpm with boost pressure of MINUS -2.54

MAF was looking fine.

Bottom inter cooler pipe has slight leak (as they do), but dripping oil still so I assume this is the reason for low boost pressure.

Vacuum Pressure on idle is 2 kp.

Turbo made it to 203k miles, engine made it to 190k with new bkd-c fitted.

New egr valve + actuator. However when engine running it's clicking. I have had the clicking noise before on transits when the engine is stopped it clicks and shutters the flaps to move buildup

Would the MAP sensor be causing lack of boost or seems of low compression and low pulling power?

I'm going to euro on the weekend to get a new one for like 30 quid.

I'm thinking it maybe full of oil (no maybe about it) and is causing issues.

I'm now getting MAF error codes and underboost codes through VCDS.
 
MAP changed no results still drops into limp mode with no faults on VCDS.

MAF changed also.

Lack of boost until 3000 rpm.
 
MAP Changed.

MAF Changed.

EGR Shutter valve changed.

Will oil in the intercooler cause high revs boost?
 
Think you need to do a few runs with VCDS logging actual vs requested boost and the turbo duty cycle in percent.

Most likely a badly setup actuator or lack of vacuum to it though.
