VCDS issue

Hi, when I’m trying to select 46 (central conv) for example in VCDS 17.1 I keep getting an error saying ‘no response from controller’ The ignition is on but I still get the error message. Any ideas?

If its a mid 08 onwards then 46 doesnt exist, its all in 09.

You was spot on thanks. I wanted to change the selective unlocking to all doors instead of just the one door but it won’t accept the change unless i’m doing something wrong?? I wanted to change the audible locking/unlocking feature too but when selected in the drop down menu I get an error channel 11 not available

If its a genuine Lead then yes, if not then no.... and shame on your for using cloned tools if so... and may your ears turn in to bum holes and poo on your shoulders... if you are using a cloned tool that is :/

No i invested in a genuine one, it’s just all new to me is this

So you have not updated your client since the 6th January? I would get to it, especially as cloned tools are not supported here on ASN.

Nope, had no use for it because I’ve had a Merc for past year and half. I’ll update it when I get home from work

Nothing to worry about then, especially as you have got rid of the Merc lol Am really not a fan of them.

If you do have a genuine cable you can register with the rosstech sitr and join there forum where u will find ur answers there too but it is only open to genuine cable owners
