hi guys,

my66 S3 is due for inspection as stated on the dash in 30 days. what does this inspection inlcude? ive alrerady had interim service done , oil and fitler change 2 months ago when it popped on dash,.

do i have to do the main service/inspection at main dealer or can be done at any VAG specialists? if done elsewhere other than Audi - would my online service hsitory update. im on 4 year pcp and will look to swap after 2.5 - 3yrs so does it matter where the service is done?

any advice?? as im assuming it will cost > £350 at main dealer

How many miles have you done? If less than 10K per annum you should be on fixed annual servicing, where they will do all that’s necessary together.

car is under 12k miles. how do i chnage this to fixed servicing... its seems intermim (oil anf filter) is due May when i did it. and the inspection is due sept. but told this is every 19k miles or 2 years.

so if i change it to fixed - it should flag up for another 2 years or 19k the inspection where as oil is every year.

aslo its 2 years amd AC service is recommened. can this wait ?

If you are on variable oil and inspection should be about the same time.

I got an email from dealer telling me aircon service is due at 2 years. I'll be ignoring that.

So audi Oldham have quoted me £180 final price down from £240.

Is this reasonable for inspection. Then this won't be due for anther 2 years they said.

Do anyone know any audi specialists who can I my inspection with and can reset my inspection indicator Around Oldham Manchester area.?

what is actualy included in the so called inspection service. is it just visaul checks? that cover the below ive seen in another thread ..

Here is a list supplied by Audi UK. Dealer said pollen filter not require until 40k miles!

Halfords have quoted me £39.99 inc VAT (hahaha) for the ininspection no extra work . Audi want £180

My A3 is almost 12 months old, Unsure If it needed an oil change or not 2 separate dealers have both confirmed the same fact.

The service is due in 24 months or 18,000 depending which comes first, the car will tell me when it needs to be booked in.
