The wife's 07 a3 170 had a bit of a hissy fit yesterday, and would not start for about 5 mins.

I cleared the codes, and it hasn't returned - so far !!

Would this suggest a faulty sensor, or the wiring loom?

thanks

I'd look at changing the sensor before changing the loom, it will be far cheaper and easier... But only if the codes return!
No point buying anything if the problem stays away and it was just a rogue code that flagged up.

Thanks for the reply.

The problem is that the sensor, from what I have read, is a costly on to replace due to the location. cheap part, but labour intensive to do.

Hi. I have the same code. Car struggles to start after a short trip. I guess when the sensor gets hot. Have checked the voltage on grip. Getting 5 volts for positive and signal. I think it is the sensor itself. Erased the code..comes back after a while.
I have the same engine BMN. Can i please get the exact part no for this sensor. I took aome photos but cant see any part no on the sensor.
