Its doing my head in now all these darn options, i'm going give it a miss for a day or so to let common sense prevail..lol

Yes, aftermarket B7 RS4 systems have narrower, less deep mufflers. The OEM items are just too big. I am only going with them, because I want to keep the conversion as OEM as possible, and there’ll be so much cutting anyway, so the trunk floor is just minor detail.
I've cut out an RS4 diffuser (exactly like that), sanded it down and got RS style plastic mesh for it if anyone's interested.this option maybe better if I stick on an oval theme.
