So, I noticed right after going stage 2, and CTS catted DP on my 16' S3, that I get this obnoxious engine bay sound at higher RPMs. Sounds good until about 4k rpm, then just eww.
Haven't had a chance to really figure out what it is, as I'm back at work, thought I'd ask if anyone else ran into this.
Current setup:
-Unitronic stage 2 ecu/tcu
-Drop in afe high flow filter, air box baffles removed
-CTS turbo exhaust delete (Possible cause? Didn't seem to hear this noise at stage 1 ecu, with the turbo delete)
-CTS catted DP
-Res Delete
-Stock muffler
-CTS catch can
Vid is with windows down (don't mind the crap footage, phone was on mount)
It reminds me of bad induction noise on a mkiv gti I had, but WAY louder, like, over powers the exhaust. Embarrassingly farty from up front. Im almost certain my sound activator is disabled, as it was before doing the stage 2 tune, and I didnt mess with it.
