I thought I'd post this up as it might be useful to someone.
I wanted to buy a replacement OSF fog light grille to modify, as I didn't want to damage the original. The best price I could get was £138 for it. I took a gamble on this from eBay and it appears to be an OE part, for £36. See picture of the Audi badge and part number removed. This is how I received it...
I've also attached some of what I've done to it.
