Was cold even put a car mat down but my **** was still numb from sitting on the drive for so longWell done mate...cold steel in your hands...must have been bitter...I took my GF's car today as it has heated seats, us soft southerners eh?
I’ve been close but if I did I’d have to spend my days off with the missesWhy do we do it to ourselves ? I spent 3hours messing about with changing the fuel pump, I can now honestly agree with my girlfriend that I am short tempered... fair play to you TJ for doing this for so long I would of gave up..

yeah that’s how ghost works but our cars are to old for it, was thinking maybe an hidden immobiliser wired to a button on the mfsw if that’s even possible I’m not sureI’ve often thought that maybe they could put an additional immobiliser on the Ignitron ECU. Maybe a certain sequence of buttons pushed to initiate ignition

Or take out the fuel pump fuse every time you get out

that’s exactly it buy enough time to get them out the house and for me to grab my bat, with the battery in the boot could hide a little breaker/solenoid behind the stereo panel so they won’t get no power to startThat’s what you use for the hidden dead switch mate inline switch sort of thing. A professional car thief will figure ways around it, anything to slow them down though. A good old steering wheel lock hinders them by around 5 mins. Then the hidden switch another few mins. By that time and the alarm going off I’ll be out there with my baseball bat haha

Hopefully they won’t be coming of regularly just a pain trying to line them up and don’t want to scratch the wheelsYeah I noticed that as well, unless your going to be swapping wheels regularly I don’t think there is a call for studs instead of bolts. Prawn has studs on his A3 not sure what spec they are though

If you don’t mind me asking what did you pay? I payed £130 cash to get my AP racing 6 pots refurbished, baring in mind I bought the replacement components. They did pull out the snapped off blood nipples though.
Paint wise, well I did it myself so about £50 I guess and about 3-4 hours of my time. Not to mention getting the misses to paint the recess yellow...... yeah I see owe her a favour for that!
