Cleaning an aftermarket sports cat.

Hi, as part of my TT rebuild I am fitting my 3inch downpipe and 200cel sports cat. On my S3s last MOT they struggled to get it through the emissions test. So i am thinking about trying to clean the sports cat before fitting it.

I have some 'cataclean' to try, has anyone tried something like this on a metal cat?

Sports cats rarely work to be honest.

They still fail emissions tests, and they also restrict flow. Worst of both worlds!
