Will be putting Winter wheels & tyres on my car next month, do you guys who change wheels yourself use a jackpad at all or can a standard trolley jack be used without smashing the sills in?

I don't want to be fannying about with the jack that comes with the car, it's too slow but I did notice it has a groove cut into it and I've seen jackpads for Audi's shaped like this

Thanks in advance

I always use a jack pad, I have several but one I used had a slot cut in it rather than solid.

Was one of the eBay purchases for the Jag.

I bought one of eBay was made out of a hockey puck. It split where the slot was cut I think it compromises the strength and I believe the strength is on the side not the top. Maybe I got a bad one the seller refunded me after I sent them a picture of the split. Maybe next time I’ll use a piece of wood?

Powerflex now do poly jack pad adaptors

Sorry but I don't think they are correct for our B9s.
