Forced DPF Regen

Is there anyone close to Wakefield that could possible help me with doing a forced Regen with VCDS. Having DPF issues constantly on our 2.0tdi

What are the issues causing the need for a force regen? Short journeys?

Thats quite low for it to be at end of life. I don't think a forced regen will do anything if its doing one once per week. It usually does one every 300 miles.

Thanks. I clear the fault within a few miles the revs pick up to 1000rpm, start stop stops working and the horrible smell through the dashboard.

If you need someone to have a look at it, there’s a company near you called JFS tuning. I’ve had a carbon clean from them before and I’d recommend them as they know there stuff. They do dpf work aswell when people are having trouble with them. They should be able to tell you what’s up with it if its not down to your driving, it might just be a sensor or something.
