What platform is my a3??

Hi folks, getting confused as I am looking for some new wheels. I have a 2013 a3 sportback 1.6tdi.when I call to enquire about wheels , some tell me it is an 8v and some say it's an 8p.
Also the wheels on the car are et51 and some are saying I need et45.....any advice or info much appreciated

2013 is an 8V or a really late registered 8P.

If you google 8V and 8P you should be able to tell which car is yours.

Does your chassis number start WAUZZZ8P or WAUZZZ8V?

If you do have the 8p, wheels with an ET of 45 to 54 will fit ok, for 8” rims -
ET45 will bring the outer wheel face just about flush with the wheel arch lip, just about perfect.
-ET54 will be about 11mm further inside the arch, not much but very noticeable.
If you have 8v then ask on the 8v forum for best fit.

Yes.. sorry...finaly confirmed it's an 8v.
