Extended "RS3" Leather Installation Help

Hey, i've recently purchased a red stitched S-tronic gear leather, and Handbrake cover.
I wanted to ask if anybody has already made the swap and can help me understand how to do it myself?

I only purchased the gear knob's leather itself so i'll be needing to use the original knob and only switch it's leather, same goes for the handbrake - it's only the "geniue" red stitching leather cover.

when removing the gear knob, pull out the button and then slip a zip tie between the knob button and the knob itself. This keeps the button in the open postion so you can place it back on after installing the gaitor. I terms of the handbrake. place a small screwdriver into the back of the handle and unlatch the attachment point.
