Well chaps, I'm not really impressed on the aftermarket LED DRL/sidelight combo's now.
having had a setup fitted since jan this year they have been nothing but problems ,started out well then went down hill within a few weeks .
The oem sidelight/ drl setup on my A4 B7 is pretty poor to be honest and LED versions are a big improvement in light output but the kits just seem to be rubbish and totally unreliable.
So I've ripped out my kit and re-instated the oem fittings , which are less bright etc so a downside there but at least they are reliable.
I would still like to upgrade to LED's but what is the best solution, as there must be a better way than this …
just seems way too much hardware and connections , all that lot in each headlamp casing, not really ideal and maybe partly why the parts fail .
any thoughts chaps on the way forward on this , also what can be done with the B7 reversing lamps, so dim just not worth having them ...
