Hi, and merry Christmas to all,
I’ve had a rattle in the engine bay for about 6 months it sounds like a thin metal sort of rattle in the engine bay, but sounds really deep, sort of like a vibrating belt or big heavy plastic piece when inside the car, only does it between 1100 and 1500 rpm and can’t seem to find the culprit, I’ve tracked it down to the timing belt area but still can’t see any issues, the belt was changed a year ago, the alternator belt was changed 2 weeks ago.
I’ve searched and searched online but still can’t find any help as to what it could be, any of you amazingly amazing engine/car people able to shed any light on what it could be

Sounds normal to me....

Are you sure it’s not the injectors operating?

I found the issue, was a small heatshield vibrating on the cam belt cover, (which wasn’t clipped in exactly right)
