CAT Removal 3.0TDI. Anyone done it?

wont that cause you MOT issues now .

It’s less of an issue with a TDI. Emissions is easier to pass. Mainly they look for a visual inspection to check its their but with an undertray on it’s damn near impossible to see it on the 3.0tdi.

If it did I would swap it back for MOT time. But only if it’s not a complete pain in the *** to fit.

Hopefully someone has some experience and can give me a yes or no.
 
I had my 3.0 TDi's CAT and DPF gutted, it was a whole days work 8-20. If You have access to lift and induction heater go for it. It was tricky to remove CAT even when we got the all the bolts off. Less so with DPF - there only all the bolts where rusted to s***. Get yourself new bolts, nuts and gaskets.
