Where have the RS and Petrol models gone?

RS and Petrol version of A8 and A7 missing from Audi Configurator.

The 55 (3.0 Petrol) never made it to the 2019 C8 version of the A6 whilst removed from the new A7 and A8.

Ah. Makes sense. It will be interesting to see what models are released and find their way to the UK market.

I ordered the 50 (3.0 diesel), I wanted the 55 (3.0 Petrol) but was advised by my Audi dealer in August ‘18 there could be some delays for the 55 and I wanted to get the car well before the published Brexit date.

Rumour has it facelifted S4 S5 will be diesel too.

Audi UK have removed the 3.0 TDI options from the A4/A5 Range that is now limited to just 2.0 Petrol or Diesel varieties. If the performance Petrol engines are not meeting the compliance standards then ironically sounds like the Diesel will be offered.
We had a couple of 3.0 TDI A4 In sport and then s-line before the new model came out. Great performance but suspension needed sorting out. Grafting a 50 286 into an A5 with decent uprated suspension could be interesting.
