Hi,

I'm looking to put an air filter on my audi but wondered if anyone can recommend one to buy. I had one previously but was advised to take it off as it blew my air mass flow meter due to oil in the foam being drwn into the meter????

Thanks!

the standard paper filters are fine as long as there changed regularly

failing that i've had a pipercrosss foam panel filter in my A3 for just under a year with no problems whatsoever - you just have to be careful how much oil you apply to it when you clean it.

Thanks Guys, Are there any other simple mods i could do to the engine to improve it?

I have a 1.8T 1999 A3, I have an FK Adjustable coilover suspension and 19" RS8's but thats about it? Keen to do smaller things first, i have had a remap need it tested as to what the BHP is still.

Realistically, the audi paper filters are fine, you could do a cold air feed but it requires quite a bit more work, a few members have done them (might be worth a search).
