I think it's worth sacrificing a years no claims and £70. 141k and original windscreen.

I didnt loose my no claims when i had a screen replaced on my previous car, just paid the £70 like you. Maybe opt for the screen with rain sensor and sunstrip while you there

If you zoom in on the picture you can see all the pitting from 141k of driving. I guess it's the original windscreen, it has that original tak in the corner.
