Hi all, I get there may be a general clean up etc but does anyone know what Audi do, or have some sort of procedure for it?

Now i've fixed my roof i'd like to make it's life as easy as possible going forwards!

VAG group uses this stuff: G-000-450-02.

Have also read that Audi use: Audi Part No. G 060 751 A2 for lubricating the sunroof rails, and
G 052 141 A2 is for lubricating the sunroof seals. It's called Krytox paste.

I can't find specific maintenance instructions for Audi, but this Škoda one will be roughly the same lines.
See instruction pages half way down this post. https://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/403313-panoramic-sunroof-lubrication-needed/

Using some nylon stimmer wire with a cotton bud end taped on - you can clean the drainage channels with a mild detergent and hot water.

Brilliant, thanks.

Once the weather gets better i'll get stuck in! Having repaired it and got out of jail for £6 rather than £406 from Audi I want to make it's life as easy as is possible!!

Thankfully I know the drain channels are nice and clear as I have to have the roof lining down before to reattach both of them. But what I will do is block them off before I clean in there so I don't move the muck from one place to another!

Talking about drain pipes, when I used to "had to have" sunroofs on my cars, I always checked the "nipples" at the lower ends of these 4 pipes, really to make sure that they were still able to open and dump out any collected water. Luckily I never ever had the drain pipes come free from the sunroof water channel stubs.

Audi specialist I use said it's pretty common and a poor design so they just cable tie them into place, exactly what I did to mine last time I had some water in the cabin.
