Hi .. as the title says I'm fitting a second hand turbo to a 1.9tdi .. the reason being I will be selling it on later in the year and don't want to throw silly money at it .. the replacement I've got seems to be in good condition but obviously has old oil in it ..would you leave it as is or rinse it all out with some sort of solvent ? Clearly cleaning out any old oil would be of benefit and squirting in some fresh but I'm wary of going near it with any solvent as maybe that would damage any oil seals ? What would you do ?
