I noticed just now a week into owning my S3, don’t ask me how it’s taken this long... the front and rear seats are different

As in the fronts are the dotted pattern the rears are smooth leather.. both black leather.

Wtf?!?

Been racking my brains trying to figure out what could possibly have happened

First thought was maybe the car had wingbacks and the owner decided to sell them separate but the factory spec says “fine nappa leather bucket seats - £0), not even sure wingbacks were an option on the S3?

Can’t think of a circumstance where you’d have to replace the rear seats!! Not sure what to do now, any cheaper alternatives to wingbacks for front seat upgrades? To smooth leather to match the rear

No wingback alternatives unless aftermarket unfortunately. eBay is your best bet.

I have fine nappa.

Sounds like the fronts have been swapped. I’ve got a sales brochure. I’ll have a look to see if perforated leather was an option.
