Rattling noise on tick over

Afternoon all. My s3 has started a kind of rattling noise but really only when warm and when you reb the car in neutral it speeds up the rattle. Any ideas what this could be?

Same for me. As mentioned above it could well be the chain. Or aren't our engines prone to noisy injectors? Is it a slow pace tick or fast rattle?

Is the rattle consistently there if you hold the revs at about 2k RPM? If so it's possibly the timing chain.

These engines are quite tappy sounding - a combination of the injectors and HPFP.
