Having a great drive through Europe in my FL RS3.

However, in a small street in Italy, another car got so close when passing and hit my wing mirror, the mirror glass hit the road and shattered and the mirror housing was ripped clean off and also snapped.

Nothing else was damaged thankfully but what’s my best option as a stop gap for the St couple of days of driving?

1) find a local Audi dealer near lake Como and see what they have

2) duct tape the mirror housing onto the mirror arm

3) tie a plastic bag over the mirror housing until I get home ?

I don’t really wanna leave the wires exposed etc

Thanks
Arrrrr

if electrical wires are exposed id try and terminate the ends and cover them in electrical weatherproof tape - you dont want moisture/water there. need decent tape. Might be worth seeking out an audi dealer to see what they say, even if its to make it safe

or cheap option 2 or 3 as you can do it yourself as you state

id try option 1 first, never know they may do it free or cheap lol
