Hey, I was new to machine polishing until this weekend, I bought the das v6 from clean your car. Managed to get a load of swirl marks out from previous owner

Funny enough I’ve just been on clean your car looking at the DAS-6! Would you recommend it?

Which pads should generally be used for swirl marks also?

1.A DAS 6 Pro Plus with a 15mm throw.
2.Chemical Guys Hex Logic 2 Green pads 2 Orange." 5 INCH QUANTUM PADS"
3.250 ml bottle of Sonax Profiline Perfect Finish.
4.Bilt Hamber Cleanser Fluid.
5.370 GSM edgeless micro fibre cloths 10 of

Yes, it gave good results with no experience. I watched a few you tube clips firs for tips, like dabbing polish around the area then spreading on a low speed before polishing.

I can vouch for having no experience. Had previously only polished bonnet and wings on previous car, and amazed at results. Just done new car, all of it. Can also say above list is what I used, apart from DA, have a Flex, but Pro Plus very good Go for it!

DAS 6 has only a 650 watt motor,the pro plus has better ergonomics and has a 900 watt motor for a extra £25 bangers....Menzerna all the way though

I know there has been loads of responses already, I bought an Autobrite direct one last halloween in their sale, only just found time and weather to actually use it this Monday!
Great piece of kit and easy to use, is a little pricey though - I got the DA21 with all 3 types of pads and polishes. I only dared to use speed 1 this time, which is 1800 opm, but it goes to 4800!
Agree with dotting the polish around first, sent it flying a few times!
