I’d like to learn more about my MMI unit so I took a picture of it from behind and would like to know what each input mean.

Thanks!

I would also like to know about the quad lock connector “missing” wires.

Audi MIB1 Standard (RMC Radio)

White = radio Ariel
Pink = display screen
Yellow / gold = Ami / USB ports

Quad lock is a mix of power, speaker connections, can connections and video connections.

The black port between the quad lock and your gold / yellow connector is a fibre optic / MOST connection.

Thank you for a detailed answer. What does MOST mean? I suppose it’s for audio? Also, can i retrofit the Audi sound system subwoofer with my unit? Thanks.

It’s a method of data transport / communication.

Yes, but it’s not a simple as connecting speakers and coding with vcds. You will need more specialist applications.
