Anyone fitted these to their B5?? What's your opinion of them?

I've done a search and found some useful info. But I still have a few questions.

Apparently they can be very squeaky. Is this the case on the A4?

Powerflex list 3 different sizes for the ARB bushes. How do I know which ones to order?

How easy / difficult are they to fit / remove the old ones?

Had them in my 80 and over ramps they squeaked all the time, but did tighten up the front end alot

I have a B5 Avant with the full drievtrain powerflex'd.
Yes they squeak, but that is down to poor fitment as much as hard poly.
Jury is out on long term use on ARB's, the problem is they remove all torsional movement from the bush which means the Arb rotates inside the bush and any road grime acts as an abrasive destroying the ARB in teh contact zone.

they sharpen the handling up very well, little bit more road noise.
Well worth it

its the upper ones that squeak on mine and to be honest i would only bother getting the rear lower ones as they make the biggest difference. hth

Thanks for that snoop. Do you think it would be wise to get the others replaced with new standard ones?

if i was u buddy i would buy all new control arms and just replace the (rear lower arm bushes) and the strut mount (front lower)and leave the top as standard. when i replace my uppers again im going to sell the powerflex uppers.
