B8 S4 ABT mix MRC?

Hi.

I just bought a 2010 S4 avant with Capristo exhaust system and ABT chip.

I want to install some MRC stuff like, pulley kit, silicon intake pipe and a high flow filter.

- Can I expect any performance increase or i have to remove ABT chip and custom remap the car?
- Can I use safely ABT chip and new stuff at all?

You can install everything but to make the most of the pulley upgrade you’ll need a remap to make use of the extra boost available.

You will be safe to drive on abt tune, but you would be wasting the pulley upgrade as it will just bleed additional boost made. So if you want to make the most of it get it retuned, otherwise I wouldn't bother with pulley upgrade.

Thanks for the reply.

The problem is that i live in Budapest and the nearest MRC base is 900 km from me.. I dont want to retune the car with a noname company here. So i install stuff and wait for the time to trip 2.000 km for a tune

I understand that Mihnea Cotet (co-founder) travels quite a lot so it might be worth finding out when he might be somewhere nearer to you this year.
