Hi Huys newbie here and new to Audi , I've just purchased a Avant b7 2.0 tfsi and I've noticed my front discs feel wavey on the surface rather than being completely flat is this normal or so they need replacing?

After many miles of use, grooves and "undulations" build up and cause the uneven surface you describe. The lip at the top of the disc looks quite pronounced (the original surface would have been level) and so I would guess the discs are just reaching the end of the life.

Mine are the same, just the way the disc wears due to being drilled I think.

I've got new ones to go on when these current pads are done.

It's down to the way the heat is absorbed by the pads, amongst other things.
Just make sure you get new discs and pads - Mr. Bodge had previously just replaced the just pads on the front of mine at some point and when I replaced them (and discs!) a couple of weeks ago, the discs were so thin, you could top them with cheese and call them canapes!

Lol sounds tasty, yeah I'll get them changed next week , cheers guys
