How do I know what Brake Discs to order?

Hi All,
I need a new set of front Discs and Pads and I am not sure how to find out if I need the 288 x 25mm Vented Discs or the 312 x 25mm vented discs.

I am guessing 312mm discs ?

Does anyone know?

Probably be 288mm but if you give GSF your VIN number then they'll tell you what discs you need. Or measure them.

I might be wrong on this but i think the 312mm had vented rear discs not solid???

My Sline has vented 312 x 25 mm fronts but solid rears 255 x 12- 04 plate.

312mm are OE on 3.0
288mm are OE on all 1.8Ts

You can upgrade from 288mm rotors to 312mm rotors (which is worthwile) - all you need are two 3.0 mounting brakets for the front calipers. everything is bolt on.

Then A4 190hp (engine code BEX) is the exception. You can also buy 345mm brakes from the B6 S4 or 320mm brakes from the B7 A4.
