Your opinions Euro6 2.0 tdi vs 1.4/1.5 tsi

I'm Looking for new used A3 Sport back 2017 onwards.
I currently have 2007 A3 2.0 tdi 170 manual. My yearly mileage is around 8000.

I've seen very nice Nano grey 2.0 tdi 150 s tronic 18,000 miles . With Comfort pack and folding mirrors.
£17250 £30 road tax. I want to buy it basically

But Euro 6 tdi's seem very complex with two EGR valves and 3 coolant routes. wonder about reliability.

So should i stay clear of diesel and looking at 1.4/1.5 petrol but with £145 road tax.
I'd be looking at sport trim in manual no extras with my budget.

My heart wants tdi i looked at My brain telling me maybe i should be looking at petrol.
Can't make my mind up!

My 1.4 was only £20 VED. Did mid 40s mpg but it was a little gutless in the mid range. A diesel would feel a lot torquier.

Given what's happening with diesel's lately I'd say petrol every time, RS6 though, nice used RS6 can be had within budget
