Heated mirrors

hello, do heated mirrors only operate under a certain temperature? Because I’ve moved the switch to 6 o’clock and they don’t come on & they aren’t coming up on the fuel saving screen on the dash like they normally do either.

Not as far as I'm aware, mine were working fine this morning Never had an issue temperature wise.

I think they only work below a certain temp, because I’ve just tried them and they work now haha

I used mine this morning to clear up rain drops and it was around 17 C

As @HertS3 said I done the same this morning, if the dial is on the heated mirror section they'll work. Sounds like yours might have a fault if they don't appear to be working.

It was about 17 degrees here last night, so I went out and I sprayed water on the mirrors and they started to work. I’m going to try them again soon as it’s raining here. So I’ll let you guys know what happens

Oh and also, according to this pdf my friend sent to me. They are temperature operated
