Rear Wiper Motor Fault

So over the last few weeks my rear wiper hasn’t worked properly. I noticed only a little bit of water was coming out but after use it would poor out of the tail gate! My mechanic discovered the motor was faulty and leaking. Getting it replaced today. Sharing this as I believe it was a common fault on the 8P but not too many reported on 8V yet. My car is 7 in November on 100K.

All rear wiper motors fail after X amount of year's, the seals fail over time and water gets into the motor & mechanism. The only reason why the 8V model is not common as yet is due to the age, but as the 8V cars get old the more common the fault will be.

Rip them out and replace with a bung from the likes of gecleant.de
