Hi All,
Looking for advice on actuators for a standard ko4-023 please.
I'm told my car has a 1 bar actuator on it but the mapper wants me to change it out for a standard one before he goes any further. Unknown brand, looks nice though
It's currently running a standard map for running in purposes post rebuild, with small tweeks to accomodate any deletions, evap system etc.
Spec: DW65v Pump, Wagner FMIC, Cold side dv relocation, 3"DP, decat & catback, forged rods.
Basically is a 1bar act ok on a standard turbo?
If yes, which N75 valve is best? I believe there to be 2 types, J & H - H holding a higher pressure later in the rev range.
If no - Do you know where I can get a standard oe spec actuator, or are the aftermarket ones now more reliable? I read some poor feedback on some very old threads on here.
Sorry if this all sounds aloof, it's my 3rd s3 but by far the most modified. It broke VERY soon after purchase so still figuring out what I have, what's been removed and what route is best to go down.
