New Car!
Private sale, with 55,000 miles on the clock.

The MMI states that the next service is due in 13,000 miles and oil change in 3,000 miles.

The last audi service stamp was at 39,000 miles although the previous owner states he has had the car serviced/maintained by his dad since then.

Car passed MOT 6 months ago with no issues at 50,000 miles.

After some digging certain websites have suggested that the air filter/spark plugs needs replaced at or before 57k miles and an adjustment of the turbo actuator at or before 60k miles.

I'm wondering if I should get a service from audi main dealership (or normal garage) just to be on the safe side? And if I should get those replacements done?

I got the air con regassed today for £60 and also still need to get my wheels refurbished.

Thank you

Also if anyone has any advice or suggestions on what to look out for and what to do to the car that would be great. This is like having a new child lol

Congrats on the new car! But this is the 8V model, look for the 8v forum (this is the 8P forum) :)

Also, I did the first service on my car at a trusted Indy vw specialist, if you have one, it will be much cheaper and as good or potentially better than an audi dealer.

As above, google a VAG specialist for NI and check them out.
It’s also about time you learned how to do a basic service on your own car and save loads of dosh. Oil, filters and spark plugs can be done easily with a few diy tools and no need for OBD scanners and dealer software.
