Went to see this yesterday for anyone who is thinking of throwing in a bid. I know it ends soon but thought i'd warn anyone intereseted.
Came all the way from Dundee, the boy claimed it was in excellent condition, never had any problems, never spent a penny on it apart from servicing, bodywork was good etc etc. Turns out the back bumper had been sprayed and not lined up right, the passenger door had a kink in it, it was sitting out about a cm, the dashboard and ecu chassis numbers were different from the engine chassis number and to top it all off when taking it out for a test drive the clutch was slipping!!
He wanted £9000 for it. By the time everything had been sorted, a cambelt put on and the car mot'd n tax'd in 4 months time your looking at approx £2000 worth of work. Someone is away to get stung big time!
