Dipped light signal

My car has auto lights. Bi xenon with led drl to be exact.
Should there be a light on the dash to let me know when my dipped lights are on?
My previous cars all had a green light symbol to show the lights were on.
Or am I missing something stupid??

I have the same setup. There isn't an indication to tell you if the lights are on. The only difference between the lights in the off position and in the auto position is the dash lights are on.

I think there's a faint green light inside light switch when there on.
The auto or light symbol lights up

If you have MMI and satnav, the map screen will change colour and switch to night mode when the dipped lights go on.

Not always with auto lights tho. Have noticed the dipped lights on and the screen still in bright mode..

That might be to do with the configuration.
