Evening all,
I've just had a clutch replaced with a much more sturdy RTS. With the gearbox off, the mechanic showed me the float in the crankshaft and recommended changing the thrust washers.
As they didn't have the parts in and I needed to head back across the country, I decided to wait and have this changed at a later date.
I've since been told that this should have been done at the same time the gearbox was off? Can this not be done by dropping the sump and changing from underneath?
