Aluminium trim around windows real?

I have the aluminium pack on my PFL and noticed the aluminium trim around the windows is starting to tarnish a little.
Is it actual alumimium (metal) or a plastic made to look like aluminium and any suggestion on what product to clean it with to get it back to its best?

I think they are plastic. The "silver" trim around my windows has started to go 'milky' and there's not a thing I can do to bring them back to their original brightness.

Try wiping the trim with a dab of isopropyl alcohol and then finish off with Autoglym Rapid Detailer. Worked for me and looks tip-top!
