mmi update

just bought my car in for the 38k gearbox service.

was advised there's a new mmi update but he couldn't give me any more info.

anyone know what it does?

I didn't get the update done at the time, and now they've sent me a letter (recorded delivery) telling me that the update still needs to be applied. Must be important then?
