Love them or hate them, due to living out in the country with the minor back roads covered in mud etc from tractors etc, I have always fitted them to my vehicles.
So set about purchasing a set, did not go for the very expensive genuine Audi ones, instead purchased some off the Web that were suitable for Q5 - Sline and SQ5, at a third of the cost.
They arrived but I did not like the the fixings (8 M5 screws and 4 spring nuts) they provided and only enough for eight of the holes, in what little fitting instructions there are - states that pushpins not supplied.
So I purchased a number of Audi panel clips (plastic push rivets). Ended up inserting these into all three holes on each mud flap except used one screw and spring nut provided for each of the fronts to secure flap to the wheel arch liner.
Fitting very easy no cutting involved just three holes drilled for each flap in the plastic wheel arches.
Fronts took just 30 mins max as wheels did not have to be removed. Rears - wheels off flaps fitted wheels replaced approx 40 mins.
They appear to be doing the job.
