Changing D3S Headlight Bulb in A3

How do you remove the headlight housing to replace the headlight bulbs?

Do you have to take the bumper off or can you reach all the bolts for the headlight assembly to remove just the headlight housing?

You do need to remove the bumper there's a YouTube video I actually saw today someone doing it

Can get in via remove wheel and inner wheel arch!

Although it’s all blind to remove bulb can be done!

Jack the car up, remove wheel and tyre!

Removing inner wheel arch back you can get access to rear of headlight, and remove bulb and then replace!

Funnily enough, Xenon bulbs are covered under the extended warranty! Manufacturer's warranty too I would guess.

in Australia, once it's outside the warranty period its no longer covered....
