Help regarding virtual cockpit

Hi all

First post here looking for some help if possible.

The outside temperature display on the virtual cockpit seems to have been replaced with L2 1/2 centre bottom right of the photo. Any ideas as to what may have caused this to happen. Lots of googling found nothing...

Have you tried changing it from imperial to metric and see if that gets its working?

Hmm that’s interesting about the key. It’s actually been into the local Audi dealership for a new key to be programmed (I only have one at the moment). They couldn’t complete the job - saying there was an issue with a receiver in the car not allowing the laptop to connect and programme the new key. I wonder if the temperature gauge going awry is related to that attempt to fix it. It’s going back in this week for the key and receiver to be sorted under warranty so at worst will get them to take a look.

“L” = learning mode.
1/2 = 1 key out of 2 has been learned.

audi has not completed the job correctly and need to take the car back to resolve the issue. If they can code 1 key then they should be able to code 2 unless the 2nd is faulty. If they cannot code the 2nd then they need to restart the procedure, tell the car they only want to code a single key and complete the 1/1 process. The display will then return to normal and they can investigate the issues with the 2nd key.
