Recently bought a 2011 B8 2.0tdi 143bhp auto, cars on 135k, I have checked at tos that i have a 100mm hex key fitted. I have read various threads regarding the 77mm hex key and the oil pump failures.
Is it advised to get a new hardened balancer shaft with new key as a preventive measure, or just keep the OEM one as it is.
