Thanks to everyone involved in the great number plate censoring. I know I'm crazy but it seems to me that if I was of the mindset to steal a particular model of car then an owner's forum with pictures and plates would basically be a shopping list. The automotive equivalent of being burgled because you announced you were on a two week holiday online. Chances are small, but why increase them unnecessarily?
Stealth was possibly the wrong choice of word for the specification, understated perhaps? Classy but capable, velvet glove iron fist, that sort of thing. I've always been a fan of the sleeper/Q car, especially for a daily driver. To the untrained eye there's little to differentiate, say, an E39 M5 from a cooking model, especially de-badged. In the words of Sir Roger Moore in the Cannonball Run "Why advertise?" However, if you know, you know.
I won't bore you with the reasons behind the various options but the only thing I regret is not getting the tyre pressure monitor, I can live without it though. I love the car, it's immensely capable - it's far faster than anyone really requires, draws very little attention in comfort on the commute yet sounds like a supercar at full chat in a tunnel. The interior is pretty much perfect in terms of tech, ergonomics, and quality of materials. I think the replacement will be uglier and overly complicated with distracting touchscreens and the like.
