TT Mk2 Number plate warning light...

Need some help/advice

Have read a few things RE: the number plate warning light appearing but want to decipher what I should start with...

Warning Light has recently come on and I have noticed the central light on the number plate does flicker a lot.

Is it a case of just buying new bulbs or is it probably more likely to be a connection problem and if so where do I begin?!

Any info would be greatly appreciated

Ideally remove the lense & try a new bulb.

If the filament is broken but still touching, then it will flicker.
