Would 19 inch alloys from a 2013 A6 c6 fit my 2007 A4 B7? Or would the pitch and offset be completely wrong? They are the original Audi alloys the A6 sline had.
You not getting any rubbing on the front with et29? I used to have a very slight rub in front with et35 and it’s relatively low.If you want to see what they will look like , checkout some of my recent pics.
I'm running the same wheels , size speedlines .
with 235/35 19" tyres and 5mm spacer front and 8mm rear , works out to be approx. F et29 / R et30
I've got that about face ricky. You not getting any rubbing on the front with et29? I used to have a very slight rub in front with et35 and it’s relatively low.
Yeah i was surprised as were running the same size wheels my rears need to come out another 5mm to make them 30et but I've put it on hold until i figure out whats going on with the wide arches and how I'm going to tackle it may just get the 5’s for now though? Ohh the choices and dilemmas...I've got that about face ricky.
My rears are ET29 the fronts are ET32...no rubbing on the front now , rears still a bit on one side but pretty sure its the liner to blame.
why the change?Ok does anyone on here have any 19inch rotar’s that would fit mine that you are willing to sell? I really do like the look of rotar’s on the avant.
Off set really confuses me with wheels it’s the only reason I have never bought different wheels for any of my cars. Problem is I need to get some as the wheels on mine are buckled so as you can imagine doesn’t make for a nice drive. I figured if I’m going to get new wheels then I’d like to go up a size to 19 but then widths change and so does off set. Then you get some people saying use this off set then others saying no don’t do that, it just batters my head
Very nice! Bet that goes like stink. I have the 2ltr tdi 170 probably doesn’t go as well as yoursIt is lowered , Bilstein B8 dampers with H&R 45mm drop springs all round, excellent setup.
special edition 2.0tfsi 220 avant with a few other bits fitted....
If your clutch can hold up they make decent torque figures when you start playing about with them, always gives the feel of a faster car when you got decent torque, joys of a diesel though i guess, just shame about the noise they make lol.Very nice! It does go very well, when its behaving that is, which it most certainly is not at present.[/QUOTEwhats up with it Rob hopefully nothing to serious I hope?
By far the best bang for buck in diesels is a stage 1 remap, your never see an increase as drastic unless you go big turbo but cost involved with supporting mods as well it gets ridiculous. What kind of playing about? I’m intrigued
I might just look into that then thanks Ricky. Do you have any recommendations on who to use? And touching on the turbo issue mine is getting a little smokey but not sure if it’s turbo related though it probably is as she’s done just over 200,000 miles and no turbo replacement in her history. What turbo would it be? I think it’s BRD engine code or BRE. It’s 170bhp Quattro so I’m thinking I’ll replace it. Is it possible to get one of those hybrid turbos without supporting mods? And what is the difference with a hybrid?By far the best bang for buck in diesels is a stage 1 remap, your never see an increase as drastic unless you go big turbo but cost involved with supporting mods as well it gets ridiculous.
Remap it and your be over the moon, i mapped my Mercedes e320 cdi sport (first and probably last diesel ill have) it went from stock 225hp & 400ft lbs to 270hp and 450 ft lbs for a £300 remap it was more than worth it.
Depends where in the country you are to be honest if tour anywhere near the midlands then MSL Performance have a very good reputation they specialise in amg’s but they do everything else as well, they had a 1000hp porsche when i was last there and often hold charity dyno days definitely worth looking at they have a 4wd dyno as well.I might just look into that then thanks Ricky.
